In class my Teacher Miss Tito asked if we could write our own Mihi for every morning. Why? because every morning Miss Tito would ask if there is someone that would like to share there Mihi and the other reason why we are doing Mihi's because it is a part of Te Reo Maori, and to practise how confident we are. So when I get chosen to the Mihi I would say=
Ka tangi te titi
Ka tangi te kaka
Ka tang hoki ahau
Tiheiwa Mauriora
He mihi whanui tenei kia tatou katoa kia koe te rangatira e
Tena koe mo to mahi e whakamoemiti ki to tatou matua i te rangi
Kiaora koutou kua hui mai nei ki tenei wahi, ki te mau mai i te aroha,
ka nui te koa mo to koutou kai ngakau ki te aro mai ki te hapai I nga take E pa ana ki te wananga. No reira tena koutou tena koutou tena ra tatou katoa
