What do I Like and Dislike about my friends?
Like:
My Best Friend is Mauina, I like how she’s always there for me when I am down. I also have other friends which are Racheal, Tracey, Etta, Vaha, Shontal and Helen Tupou. When its lunch time we always play touch or rugby if not we just sit under a tree and relax. Having fun is what us friends love doing. Racheal, Tracey, Etta, Vaha,Helen and Shontal have been friends of mine for a year now. I like having them as my friends because they are like family to me.
Dislikes:
At times my friends can be really annoying but then they cheer me up. There are times when I get angry at them and say that were not friends anymore but deep down they’re still my friends. Some times we even have a little fit at each other but we all care for one another.
My friends are really fun to hang out with and as I said before they are like family to me.

Camp TC

I felt extremely ecstatic and so excited! My bags were already ready for camp. This year I was looking forward to camp because unfortunately I didn’t go camp last year. This years camp was from Monday - Wednesday. On Monday people came in mufti and also with their luggage. Everyone was so filled with joy but first we had to have a camp meeting with Mrs Nua then headed off to our activities with our group. My Group were the Participatorz. Our leaders were Helen Tui and Charm.
Day 1:
The first day of camp was really exciting for me. Through the whole day we were all playing
games and helping out with the Hangi. Our 1st game was with Mr Harris which was Khan.
The aim of the game was to roll the ball in the middle of the cones and run and get it back.
The first team to get the most rolls in the cones until the times over wins. For this game we
were divided in half and had 2 Teams against each other. I was in Helen’s group. When we
finished we were moved to different activities through the day. One was making our tents up
our tents we were told to get our luggage
and put it in our tent.
Day 2:
In the morning at 6:00 we had to wake up for Jump Jam. Some
wouldwake up earlier or just sleep in. After Jump Jam was breakfast.
It wasdelicious. Then finally it was Rock up time. At Rock up we got
told thateach group were challenging each other for the treasure box.
In thetreasure box were soft drink cans, chocolate and lollies.
At Rock upwas full of different types of activities, there was the
Alligator Alley, Rock Wall, Ski Boards, Archery and the Dunker.
My favourite highlightat Rock up was the Dunker. Getting people
dunked, wet and splashed was cooling and fun too. It was so hot
that I felt like I was going to meltbut thanks to the dunkers
getting me wet I survived.
Camp T.C Concert:
At Camp there was a concert. Each group had to perform a Item and an MTV and a special
item. We had 3 judges which were Mr Jacobsen with the help of two people, Peni and Cindy.
I really enjoyed seeing lots of items and MTV’s. My favourite item that night were the Motivaterz
and the Thinkers. It was really fun.
Going to a school camp was really fun. I hope that at the end of the Year the year 8 students
get to go on another camp.

Back at Tamaki Tech
Funtastic Holiday
After all that fun playing activities it was time to eat. As we were playing before my Mum, aunties and uncles were doing the BBQ. The BBQ was delicious.
All about Me
Talofa Lava my name is Mui and I am 12 years old. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. I go to Point England Intermediate school and live in Glen Innes. I am full Samoan and part Chinese.
My hobbies are singing and playing musical instruments such as piano and guitar. Wherever or whenever I see it I would ask the person who owns it and see if they will let me use it. When I was at the age of 7 I learnt how to play the guitar. It was FUN!. It took me about 3 weeks to learn and it was hard but then I got use to it so now I know how to play a guitar.
As you may already know I go to Point England Intermediate school. I’m in a classroom mixed with Yr 7’s and 8’s. My room number is 21 and my teacher is Mrs Lagitupu. She is Niuean and is also brilliant. I love my class and my teacher and I hope we have a great year this year.
Picnic
When we got there we got told our boundaries and rules. One of our rules were to have fun.
People were already setting up nets and activities for the kids to play. There were many types of sports that were about to be played such as Volley Ball, Softball, Grid - Iron and all kinds of other sports. There was also swimming, we were only allowed to be in the water for 20 minutes. The Juniors were first then the Year 6,7 and 8’s were last.
Everyone was having a great time. People were even having shared lunch and hanging out with Ms Tito and her guitar. Those who were with Ms Tito were learning a new Waiata. Some were singing and some were just there to listen. I was getting bored so I asked Ms T if I could borrow her guitar. I sang and played until I felt tired. My friend Helen was with me and Mauina and Victoria.
At the end of the day everyone had to go line up in there class lines, and wait until the whole school was ready to go back to school. It took long. When everyone was there Mr Burt asked Ms Tito to play a Waiata before we did the closing prea, we sang Wairua Tapu. After the closing prea we all headed back to school to class and got ready for home time.
So....... I really had FUN and I'm sure everyone else had fun too.
